Irina Arkadyeva

       

A graduate from Moscow State Conservatory as an opera singer (class of professor K.Kadinskaya), she began her career in Moscow Academic Musical Theatre named after Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko.

On its stage she has embodied characters of classical Russian, French and Italian opera. Her most significant works are Elvira («Ernani» by Verdi), Madama Butterfly, Tosca in Puccini’s operas, Mimi in his «La boheme», Liza («Queen of Spades » by Tchaykovsky), Marguerite («Faust» by Gounod).

For Tosca’s part interpretation she was awarded a medal of International Opera Fund.

Having a wide range of musical interests from romances to modern music, Irina Arkadyeva dedicates her voice to classical opera first of all.

She has taken part in recording «Enochian Keys», «Master and Margarita», «Pilat», «Paganini», «The Canterville Ghost», «Fairy tale about bewitched Daryushka», «Wild swans», «Russian», some songs.
