Dmitry Stepanovich

       

Winner of Rachmaninov International Ñompetition (1998).

Graduated from Gnesin State Musical College (theory of music, composition), and vocal faculty of Moscow State Conservatory. Since 1996 he has been a soloist of Moscow Academic Musical Theatre named after Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko. His repertoir includes parts of Ruslan and Farlaf («Ruslan and Lyudmila» by Glinka), Saltan («Fairy Tale about Tsar Saltan» by Rimsky-Korsakov), Ebn-Chackia («Iolanta» by Tchaikovsky), Dulcamara («L’elisir d’amore» by Donizetti), Mephistopheles («Faust» by Gounod), etc. Having wide concert repertoir, he toured in France, the USA, Poland, Yugoslavia.

He is the author of eight sonatas for a bass and a piano and seven vocal cycles. D.Stepanovich’s compositions were performed in Moscow, at Colmar festival (France).

He has taken part in «Pilat», «Jeanne», «Enochian Keys» and some songs recording.
